If it feels like the world is suddenly talking about energy again… it’s because we have a problem.
And it’s a big one.
And it is not just the war in the Middle East.
A recent report highlighted how countries are literally scrambling to conserve electricity - from limiting air conditioning to experimenting with four-day work weeks just to reduce demand.
Let that sink in.
We’re not talking about some distant, theoretical shortage…We’re talking about a real-time global strain on the electrical system.
And here’s the part most investors are missing:
This isn’t bearish…
It’s one of the most bullish investment setups I’ve seen in years.
The Demand Surge Is Real - And It’s Accelerating
Global electricity demand surged 4.3% in 2024 - nearly double the pace of the last decade.
That’s not normal.
And it is not stopping the annual increase should remain between 3.5% and 4.5% for the remainder of the decade.
That’s a system being pushed to its limits.
And the drivers behind it are exactly the megatrends I’ve been pounding the table on for years:
Artificial intelligence
Data centers
Electric vehicles
Electrified heating and cooling
Industrial reshoring
This is the Electrification of Everything - a theme I’ve been talking about long before it became mainstream.
Now it’s hitting escape velocity.
AI Is Quietly Becoming One of the Biggest Energy Consumers in the World
Everyone is focused on AI stocks…
But very few are paying attention to what powers AI.
Energy. Massive amounts of it.
U.S. data center electricity usage is expected to more than double by 2030. These facilities are becoming some of the most power-hungry assets on the planet.
Every AI query… every model… every data center buildout…
It all comes back to electricity.
No power = no AI revolution.
Because I want to show you where this story is going next… and more importantly, where I believe the biggest investment opportunities are likely to emerge as this demand surge collides with an aging grid.
I will be launching a new portfolio of smaller stocks I believe will benefit from the electricity of everything. Stocks you likely never came across in the past.
Emerging Markets Are Leading the Charge
Over 85% of global electricity demand growth is coming from emerging economies.
China alone saw demand jump 7% last year.
India is expected to grow more than 6% annually.
Why? Because they are building everything at once:
Factories
EV infrastructure
Renewable energy
Battery supply chains
This is industrialization on steroids… powered by electricity.
Here’s the Big Disconnect Investors Need to Understand
Yes, energy efficiency is improving.
Yes, renewables are growing fast.
But neither is keeping up with demand.
Not even close.
Even with solar, wind, and nuclear expanding…
The sheer scale of new electricity demand is overwhelming the system.
That’s why you’re seeing:
Governments scrambling to reduce usage
Utilities racing to upgrade infrastructure
Massive investment pouring into the grid
This is not a short-term issue.
This is a decade-long supercycle.
And on Monday at 7pm ET, I’m going to break that down in much greater detail - including why I believe this may become one of the defining investment themes of the next decade.
Why This Is One of My Favorite Investment Themes
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again:
Energy is the backbone of every major megatrend.
No electricity… No AI… No EVs… No data centers… No modern economy… No innovation.
And yet, most investors are still chasing the flashy headline stories…
Instead of owning the infrastructure that makes it all possible.
That’s where the real opportunity is.
We’re talking about:
Grid modernization
Power equipment
Energy infrastructure
Critical materials
Next-generation energy production
Trillions of dollars are going to flow into this space.
Not millions… Not billions…Trillions.
That’s exactly what I’ll be focusing on during Monday’s webinar at 7pm ET - the hidden layers of this boom, the bottlenecks forming right now, and the companies I believe are positioned at the center of it.
The Bottom Line
The world isn’t just growing…It’s electrifying.
And right now, demand is outpacing supply in a way we haven’t seen in decades. That imbalance is exactly where the biggest investment opportunities are created.
I’ve been positioning for this for years through my Electrification of Everything theme, and we’re still in the early innings.
So stay focused.
Stay invested.
And most importantly…
Stay ahead of the trend.
And if you want to see where I think this goes next, be sure to join me this Monday at 7pm ET.
Here’s to the future,
